This is my first crack at this beer, and it turned out pretty well.
Appearance: dark copper, tending to brown, clear, ivory meringue like foam from the nitro pour. Epic lacing.
Flavour: subtle yet complex malt profile of coffee, cola, toasted bread crusts, with hints of biscuit. Medium hop bitterness. Balance slightly towards malt. Very low spicy floral hop presence. Malt dominates the finish.
Body: moderately low body, medium carbonation, nitro adds a slight creaminess to the mouthfeel.
Overall: pretty happy with this one. More malt presence would help, but with more malt, the abv increases. Not really a Czech dark lager because of the rye and nitro, I added these to add that little bit extra to my low alcohol version. Cheers!
