My attempt at an American style pale, but 0.5%.
Appearance: Deep golden with amber hues. Fluffy white head, with reasonable retention. Perhaps, a touch hazy for style.
Aroma: light pine, mint, floral, stone fruit and citrus hop aroma.
Taste: more of the same, supported by a grainy light caramel malt sweetness. Bitterness is too low for the style and the finish is to soft.
Body: good carbonation, and moderately low body.
Overall: pleasant enough, but could benefit for a drier more bitter finish. To achieve this, next time I will increase the gypsum added, and consider increasing the ibus by adding earlier kettle additions.
Mint is not often associated with citra and Nelson, but I’ve found hops taste very different in NA beers. Just learning how to use them. Next brew is already in the fermenter, a NZ pils.
